Frequently Asked Questions

Thrive Landscapes provides professional landscaping, gardening, lawn care, irrigation, and small-scale landscape construction services in Parksville, Qualicum Beach, and all spaces in between.

Below are answers to common questions about our service packages, scheduling, estimates, and how we work. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to reach out — we’re always happy to chat about your property.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yep — all estimates are free. Send a request through our website and our estimator will reach out to book a visit for your landscaping or irrigation project.

What areas do you service?

Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Nanoose, French Creek, Dashwood — and all spaces in between.

What service packages do you offer?

We offer full landscape maintenance options:

  • Regular Gardening (Gold & Silver) – ongoing gardening and bed care.
  • Full Service Lawn Care (FSLC) – mowing, edging, fertilizing, seasonal lawn care.
  • Irrigation Service Plans (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) – start-ups, repairs, >winterization, system checks.

Plus add-ons like hedge trimming, pruning, pressure washing, clean-ups, and small landscape projects.

Do you offer landscape construction?

We take on small- to mid-scale landscape construction — garden beds, plant installs, sod, mulch, gravel work, and small hardscape features.

For bigger landscape construction projects, we’re always happy to take a look. Send us your project idea(s) and we’ll come have a look!

How often do you visit?

It depends on the property, your goals, budget, and what’s happening seasonally. Regular Gardening and FSLC are usually weekly or biweekly — but perfect weather can set the pace.

Can I make special requests for my visit?

Absolutely. You can text us through Jobber, email, or call the office. The crew sees all notes before they arrive.

How do I pay my invoice?

Invoices come through Jobber. You can pay online or by e-transfer.

What happens if it rains?

We usually keep going. If weather impacts safety or quality, we reschedule.

Do you haul away debris?

Yep. Everything goes to green-waste facilities for recycling, unless you want it left on site.

Do I need to be home during service?

Nope. Just unlock gates and secure pets.

When is the best time for pruning?

Most trees are best pruned in winter; shrubs and hedges vary. We’ll point you in the right direction.

How do I update my contact or billing info?

Text us in Jobber, email the office, or give us a quick call.

Do you guarantee your work?

Absolutely. If something feels off, let us know — we stand behind our service.
